The need to provide the Iren spa organic waste treatment plant with a suitable landscape structure has stimulated reflection on a landscape insertion consisting of a fifth perimeter woodland and a nearby tree and shrub system, which could function as a filter from 'outside inwards.

The large area was designed as a plant base in cultivation, consisting of herbaceous crops in rotation effective for the absorption of CO2 and then destined for the production of compost. All the waterproof surfaces of the complex have been designed according to the principles of waterscape
